As New York wedding photographers, we know Long Island has plenty of beautiful spots, but The Fox Hollow always stands out. It sits in Woodbury, on the famous Gold Coast of Long Island. The whole property spreads across an eight acre estate. Lush gardens, flowing streams and soft green lawns make it feel like a peaceful escape, even though the city is not far away at all.
The gardens are a big reason couples choose this venue. Waterfalls tumble over stone, and colorful flowers line the paths. Gazebos and manicured lawns create lovely spots for an outdoor ceremony. When the weather cools off, there are also indoor chapels with tall cathedral ceilings. Either way, the setting feels romantic, classic and full of charm, a lot like a countryside estate in England.
Inside, the reception spaces are just as inviting. Vaulted chalet ceilings and stone fireplaces give the rooms a cozy, elegant warmth. The Winter Garden Pavilion is a guest favorite, with stone walls and a skylight ceiling that makes dinner feel like dining under the stars. There is even an all suite boutique hotel right on the grounds, called The Inn at Fox Hollow. Couples and their families can stay overnight and simply walk to the celebration. We love how easy and relaxing that makes the whole weekend.
Ayala and Joshua’s Meaningful Celebration
Ayala and Joshua met while they were both living abroad in Israel. Joshua was playing professional volleyball for a club in Tel Aviv, and Ayala was dancing professionally with a company in the north. One night at a club, Ayala spotted Joshua dancing with his friends and made the first move. They got serious about each other pretty quickly, and the rest is history!
Their wedding was all about family, good food and dancing the night away. They wanted it to feel meaningful, natural and fun. There was no wedding party, just the couple walking with their parents. Ayala wore a dress that first belonged to her grandmother back in the 1950s, then to her mom in 1989. That makes this the third time it has walked down an aisle! Her grandfather led the ceremony in Jewish tradition. Dusty blue, sage green, ivory and soft yellow tied everything together.

New York Wedding Photographers at The Fox Hollow
Original Weddings is a team of New York wedding photographers who love telling heartfelt, family centered stories. New York City is our home base, and we regularly travel out to Long Island, Westchester, the Hudson Valley and towns across the state. When a couple books us in Woodbury, we are always thrilled to head out to the North Shore. Garden estates give us so many lovely backdrops, from flowing water to blooming flower beds. We plan ahead so every portrait spot works with the light and the flow of the day. Our team loves every single minute of it.
We believe the most meaningful photos are the honest ones. Our photographers give gentle direction when it is needed, and then we step back so real moments can unfold. A grandfather leading the vows, parents walking their children down the aisle and friends dancing late into the night all become treasured memories. Original Weddings focuses on classic color and true emotion that will stay beautiful for generations. We share sneak peeks soon after the wedding, so couples can relive the joy right away. It is always a true honor for our whole team to be part of days filled with this much love and tradition.
New York Wedding Videographers at The Fox Hollow
Original Weddings also has a team of New York wedding videographers who love capturing sound, motion and emotion. Our filmmakers travel from New York City to Long Island, Westchester and well beyond. Celebrations full of family traditions are some of our favorite days to film, because there is so much heart in every moment. We make sure the most important words are always captured clearly.
A wedding film lets couples hear their vows again, along with the music, the cheers and the laughter of the people they love. Our videographers move quietly through the day, so couples and guests can stay fully present. Afterward, we shape the footage into a story that feels personal and easy to watch over and over. Original Weddings believes a great film should feel just like the day did. Many couples tell us it becomes their favorite way to remember the celebration with family. We are always so grateful to be invited in.
