It sits in Littleton, right up against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Tree lined Deer Creek runs through the property. Wildflowers, gardens and open fields stretch out in every direction, and the mountains rise up behind it all. It truly feels like a breath of fresh air.

This 700 acre venue is part of Denver Botanic Gardens, and you can feel it everywhere you walk. There is a lavender garden, native plants and blooms tucked into almost every corner. Wooden bridges cross the creek. Old farm buildings from the property’s ranching days still stand, which gives the whole place a sweet, rustic charm.

Couples can mix and match spaces to fit their day. The historic Deer Creek Schoolhouse makes a darling spot to get ready. The Prairie Garden Terrace hosts cocktail hour under a big cottonwood tree wrapped in string lights. For the reception, there are farm barns and the Deer Creek Stables, which has walls that open up to the gardens. There is even an open air chapel for ceremonies. It all feels relaxed, natural and full of heart.

June and Logan’s Love Story

June and Logan met at yoga. One day they were the only two people in class. The next day, they were the only two who showed up to a yoga night out, and it turned into a date! Here is the sweetest part. Back in middle school, June used to write about “my Todd,” the man she would meet someday. Logan’s middle name turned out to be Todd. Today they love yoga, paddleboarding, kayaking, camping and live music, and they share three little girls.

Camping inspired their wedding vision, along with a big wish to bring both families and their whole community together. Much of their family lives far away, so this was a rare chance for everyone to meet, laugh and dance. They planned soft yellow for June’s love of sunflowers and purple for Logan, which brings back memories of the lilacs he grew up with. Family really was the center of everything. Rustic, intimate and full of love. We adore that.
