Its spot along the Oakland Estuary gives guests sweeping views of the harbor and passing ships, with San Francisco in the distance.

Scott’s has a long Bay Area story. It began back in 1976 as a simple seafood dinner house in San Francisco’s Marina District. It did so well that a second location opened overlooking the colorful Oakland harbor at Jack London Square. Since then, it has become one of the most recognizable landmarks along the waterfront and a favorite place for big celebrations.

Many people do not realize that Scott’s is also a very flexible event venue. It has several private rooms, including the Harbor View rooms and a large Waterfront Pavilion for bigger parties. Smaller groups can gather on the waterfront terrace. Fresh seafood arrives every day, and all of the food is made right on site. It is an easy pick for couples who want great food and a view to match.

Libby and Ethan’s love story started way back in middle school. They lost touch in high school, but they found each other again on Facebook about a year later. We love a second chance story! Today they enjoy trying new restaurants, cooking together, walking around their neighborhood and playing video games. They are the kind of couple who make everyday life feel like an adventure.

When we asked about their wedding theme, they kept it simple. No set colors and no special inspiration. The groom planned to wear a Hawaiian shirt, and the bride planned to wear white. We absolutely love that. It tells you right away that their day was about being themselves and having fun, not following anyone else’s rules.
