This little farm sits in Lyons, Colorado, close to the St. Vrain River and the foothills. It is a working flower farm, so color is everywhere you turn. About four acres of flower fields and vegetable gardens fill the property. Those fields supply much of the floral beauty you see at events. There is also a modern wood barn with heating and cooling, so dinner and dancing can happen in any season. A cozy farmhouse and a vintage Airstream trailer serve as getting ready spaces. Guests love the fire pit and the classic old Chevy truck parked on the grounds. Add in the goats and chickens, and you get a venue packed with charm and personality. It is a place that makes people slow down and smile.

Alison and Kathy’s Garden Tea Party

Alison and Kathy met on a dating app. They fell in love slowly and became each other’s everything. They bonded over trips to the movies, good food and making life fun. They also told us how excited they were for us to capture their love, and that made our hearts very full.

Their theme was a garden tea party with a little whimsy mixed in. They hoped guests would show up wearing lots of color, which fits a flower farm perfectly. Their palette included blue, pink, green, orange and white or cream. It is cheerful, playful and full of life. Their photos were edited in our Rustic style, which brings out warm, earthy tones and gives every image a cozy glow. We could not imagine a better fit for a flower farm.
