Green fairways and small town charm greeted us at Berlin Country Club, and we were thrilled to be there. Berlin Country Club has a long history. It began as the Pinecrest Golf Course, shaped by the Martinath family in the 1950s. Later it became Netherwoods Country Club. In 1983, it was renamed Berlin Country Club, the name it carries today. The nine hole course first opened in 1957, and golfers still enjoy its friendly layout and scenic views.

Along with golf, the club is known as a banquet and event venue. Couples love the relaxed, down to earth feel and the beautiful green setting. The course and nearby trees make a lovely backdrop for photos. Since it is a public club, it feels open and welcoming instead of stuffy. It is a great choice for couples who want a simple, pretty celebration without a lot of fuss.

Erika and Daniel’s Simple and Pretty Wedding

Erika and Daniel went to high school together, but they were two years apart. They did not really know each other, though they knew who the other was. On New Year’s Eve going into 2019, Erika added Daniel on Snapchat. They hung out with a mutual friend once, then hung out alone and never stopped. They made it official on February 12, 2019.

Today, they love taking trips, going on adventures with their dogs and relaxing with a good show or movie. Their wedding style was just like them, simple and pretty. Dusty blue was their main color, with touches of other blues, creams and whites. Floral centerpieces with vases and candles tied it all together. It was a sweet, calm look that felt timeless, just like the editing style they chose.
