Fern Hill Barn sits in the green hills of Spencer, Massachusetts, and our Boston wedding photographers always get excited when a wedding brings us here. The drive west feels peaceful. We were thrilled to photograph Andrew and Marian’s wedding in this special place.

This venue is part of the Wedgewood Weddings family, and couples love how easy it makes planning. The grounds feature a pretty pond, a vine covered pergola, and an open air pavilion. There is also a grand hall with warm pine floors and a big fireplace. Couples can choose indoor or outdoor spaces, so the day works in almost any kind of weather. Andrew and Marian’s Wedding Day

Andrew and Marian met in college at Clark University in the summer of 2015. A good friend convinced a group to go out for ice cream, and that simple night out started their story. Since then, they have moved from Worcester to Boston, finished their degrees, and built a happy life together. They love board games, Dungeons and Dragons, music, and long walks. They even dream about adopting every dog and cat they meet. It is easy to see how well they fit together.

Their wedding style fit them perfectly. They chose maroon, burgundy, and navy, paired with the warm oranges and browns of fall. They wanted the day to feel fun, relaxed, and comfortable, not stiff or formal. We love that kind of energy. When a couple feels at ease, the photos feel honest, warm, and full of life.
