Goose Island Barrel House Wedding // Rinn & Matt

Imagine a venue where industrial charm meets warm elegance! Rinn and Matt’s Goose Island Barrel House wedding in the heart of Chicago was the perfect example. As a Chicago wedding photography team, we were truly honored to capture every radiant moment of their day at this stunning space tucked away on the city’s West Side. Exposed brick, glowing candlelight, and thoughtfully arranged barrels created a cozy yet sophisticated setting for their timeless celebration.

Rinn and Matt met on Hinge and quickly realized they shared a rare connection. That spark carried them all the way to “I do,” on a golden-lit Chicago afternoon. Rinn began her day with glam from Daniela Kosta Beauty, whose classic touch enhanced her natural glow. The bridal details, from the baby’s breath bouquet to the champagne-gold heels, reflected the couple’s elegant and refined taste.

Their first look on the city streets was straight out of a movie, and we loved capturing their bridal party outside a Chicago architectural gem. Inside the Barrel House, their candlelit ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful. The reception? Pure magic. Set beneath glowing chandeliers and framed by rows of aging bourbon barrels, the evening was filled with love, dancing, and laughter. Their classic, timeless, and elegant theme shone through every detail.

From urban industrial spaces to vineyard escapes, we bring storytelling expertise to every wedding across Illinois. We loved being part of Rinn and Matt’s celebration — from romantic portraits by the brick archways to joyful dance floor moments under warm lighting. If you’re dreaming of a day just as magical, our team offers expert photography and videography services. Getting started is simple — just reach out to explore our custom wedding packages!

Goose Island Brewhouse

Goose Island Brewhouse is the origin of the Goose Island brand, established in 1988 in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. While the wedding venue—Goose Island Barrel House—is a separate space used for private events, the Brewhouse remains open to the public for tastings and tours. It’s a great pre-wedding meetup spot for beer-loving couples and their guests. Just a short drive from the Barrel House, the Brewhouse reflects the same industrial charm and brewing legacy, making it a natural pairing for celebrations centered around Chicago’s craft beer culture.

Goose Island Parking

Parking around the Goose Island Barrel House wedding venue is relatively easy for a city location. The venue offers valet service and access to a secured lot, which is a big plus for guests unfamiliar with West Town’s layout. Street parking is available nearby, and the area is well-served by ride-share options. Since weddings typically include large guest lists, couples often arrange group transportation or shuttles. This ensures smooth arrival and departure, especially for weekend events when nearby businesses may also host gatherings.

Goose Island Beware of Dawgs

“Beware of Dawgs” is a phrase you’ll often spot in Goose Island’s branding—it’s playful, bold, and memorable. While it’s not a permanent physical feature of the Goose Island Barrel House wedding venue, the phrase reflects the brewery’s fun, slightly rebellious identity. Originating from one of their creative beer campaigns, it has become part of Goose Island’s broader culture. For weddings hosted at the Barrel House, elements inspired by this quirky spirit—like signage, tasting menus, or decor—can be woven into the experience for a uniquely Chicago feel.

Goose Island Vinyl

Goose Island Vinyl is actually a dark lager beer produced by Goose Island Beer Company. Although the name might suggest a collection of records, it is not an official music-related offering at the Barrel House venue. However, some weddings held there may independently incorporate vintage turntables or vinyl listening corners to enhance the ambiance. These personal touches complement the warm lighting, aged barrels, and exposed brick, adding a charming, tactile element for couples who love music and want to create a unique experience for their guests.
