A stunning St. Georges Episcopal Church wedding is always a highlight for us. This is a truly amazing place for a Christian marriage ceremony. The architecture is called Romanesque Revival. It has grand arches and a very commanding look. The huge windows let in beautiful light. We love the historical importance of the church. It has been a central part of the community since the 1800s. It sits right on Stuyvesant Square. This makes the surroundings just as elegant as the church itself. It is a perfect spot for classic and timeless wedding photos. The interior has high ceilings and beautiful details. It creates an atmosphere of deep reverence and history.
We were so honored to be the wedding photographer for Christopher and Dawn. They met in NYC three years ago. It was truly love at first sight! They got engaged on New Year’s eve. They share three grown children and two sweet grandchildren. Their grandchildren were the flower girl and ring bearer. Christopher and Dawn are very active in their church. The bride works in fashion and the groom is in finance. They travel a lot between New York, Palm Beach, and Colorado.
Their wedding theme was inspired by a Gilded Age feel. They were inspired by the book The Age of Innocence. They chose white lace and crystal candelabras for decorations. The flowers were all white, like gardenias and orchids. The wedding party wore formal black gowns and tuxedos. It was a very Christian and formal celebration. We were excited to document their beautiful day as their professional wedding photographer and videographer.
