Genesis Farm and Gardens in Enumclaw is one of those places that makes us smile the second we pull in. As Seattle wedding photographers, we have seen a lot of gardens, and this one feels special. It sits out in the country, with open farmland all around and Mount Rainier watching over the fields. It is about an hour southeast of Seattle, so it feels like a true escape from the city. Every Genesis Farm and Gardens wedding starts with the gardens. They are laid out in a classic English style, with winding paths, ponds and fountains. Flowers bloom along almost every walkway. Others simply love it as a backdrop for photos. There are separate getting ready cottages for the bride and the groom, too. And out in the pasture, the view stretches all the way to Mount Rainier. At golden hour, the light out there is pure magic for our cameras.

Strangers were asked to find someone new and soul gaze for four whole minutes, without saying a word. That quiet moment was the start of everything. Over the last five years, they have grown into partners and best friends. They love adventuring outdoors, dancing and making colorful memories together. Their wedding vision was bold and fun, with deep teal, lilac, chartreuse, fuchsia and marigold, plus a little disco sparkle. We could not wait to see how all that color came to life in such a green, peaceful setting.
