​Hannah and Kshitij’s story began in January 2022 during an image processing lecture. Starting as close friends, they initially bonded over a shared enthusiasm for eigenvalue problems, a connection sealed when they happened to present posters side by side featuring nearly identical typos. Their friendship naturally blossomed into romance by the fall of 2024. During their early dating days, they spent countless hours hanging out at George Green Park in Burnaby, listening to music and stargazing under the night sky. Their journey reached a milestone on September 16, 2025, celebrated as “the day of perfect squares,” when Kshitij proposed among the charming pig statues at Ösbyparken in Djursholm.

​Their wedding aesthetic brought a whimsical, astronomical theme to life, centered around a color palette of light pink and navy blue. Hannah wore a breathtaking navy gown covered in shimmering stars, reminiscent of a clear night sky, paired with a delicate light pink bow in her hair. Kshitij complemented her look flawlessly in a light pink blazer, patterned tie, and dark trousers. The custom wedding cake added a delightful personal touch, featuring illustrations, pig motifs, and clever mathematical nods that celebrated their unique connection.
