Engagement Photography Services at Silverwood Park | Jada & Nathan

Silverwood Park is a peaceful little escape just outside the city, and our Engagement Photography Services had such a happy afternoon there with Jada and Nathan. The park sits along the shore of Silver Lake in St. Anthony, only minutes from downtown Minneapolis. It feels quiet and green the moment you step onto the trail. For a nature loving couple, it is a lovely place to celebrate.

Couples love Silverwood Park because it mixes nature and art in such a unique way. Trails wind past restored prairie and mature oak savanna, with wide views of Silver Lake along the way. Sculptures by regional artists pop up beside the paths, and the pieces change over time. A footbridge leads out to a small island, which makes a sweet spot for a quiet moment together.

The park is run by Three Rivers Park District, and it is built for slowing down. There are wetlands, fishing piers, a picnic shelter and a cozy café inside the Great Hall. Indoor gallery spaces show off local artists too. Every season brings a new look, from bright summer greens to golden fall color. A Silverwood Park engagement session gives couples so many natural backdrops in one easy walk.

Jada and Nathan’s Lakeside Engagement Session

Jada and Nathan met during their freshman year at UWRF, and they have been together ever since. That is more than four years of adventures side by side! They love being outside, whether they are hiking, fishing or hunting. They also enjoy staying in together, watching movies and playing video games. It is a fun mix of outdoor energy and cozy nights at home.

A park full of trails, water and trees felt like the perfect match for this outdoorsy pair. Their photos were edited in our Airy style, which keeps everything bright, soft and full of light. It is a fresh look that lets the greenery and the lake glow in every frame. Airy editing also makes skin tones look natural and warm.

Engagement sessions are one of our favorite things to photograph. They give couples a relaxed chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. We keep things easy and playful, with gentle prompts and lots of laughs. Walking the trail together, a quiet look by the water or a big hug on the bridge all turn into real moments. Our team also loves meeting couples early, because it helps every wedding photographer on our crew get to know them.

Our team is based in Minneapolis, and we photograph sessions across the entire state of Minnesota. From city parks to lake shores and forest trails, we are always excited to explore a new spot. Minneapolis Wedding Photographers at Silverwood Park

Original Weddings is a friendly team of Minneapolis wedding photographers who love exploring the parks and lakes of the Twin Cities. Minneapolis is our home base, and our photographers travel all over the area for couples. We often photograph engagement sessions in Saint Paul, Roseville, Bloomington, Stillwater and Edina, plus many small towns nearby. A short drive to St. Anthony for Jada and Nathan’s session at Silverwood Park was a treat for our team, and the lakeside trails made the afternoon feel calm and easy.

Engagement photography is all about comfort and connection. Our photographers guide couples with simple prompts, then step back and let real moments happen. We watch the light as it moves through the trees and across the water, and we look for quiet corners that feel personal. Original Weddings cares about natural color, honest emotion and photos that couples will love for years. Every engagement photographer on our team wants couples to feel relaxed, happy and fully themselves. Many couples tell us their session helped them feel ready for the camera on their wedding day. We also love seeing how much more relaxed they are when we meet again at the wedding, because by then we already feel like old friends.

Minneapolis Wedding Videographers at Silverwood Park

Original Weddings also has a skilled team of Minneapolis wedding videographers. Our filmmakers are based in Minneapolis and travel across Minnesota for couples, from Saint Paul and Roseville to Bloomington and Stillwater. Parks like Silverwood are lovely places for our team to film, with water, trees and soft natural light all around.

A wedding film keeps the sights and sounds of the big day close forever. It saves the vows, the laughter and the music that fills the room. Our videographers work quietly in the background, so couples can relax and enjoy every minute with the people they love. After the wedding, we shape the footage into a story that feels personal and easy to watch again and again. We choose music that fits the mood of the day. Original Weddings believes a great film should bring back the feeling of the celebration every time you press play. It is a keepsake that grows sweeter with time.
