DoubleTree Port Huron Wedding | Katelyn & Bradley

Detroit wedding photographers always get excited when a celebration brings us somewhere as scenic and welcoming as the DoubleTree Port Huron. Katelyn and Bradley chose a venue that feels timeless while still offering a relaxed atmosphere for family and friends to gather, celebrate, and enjoy every part of the day together.

We love photographing weddings in Port Huron because the setting naturally creates beautiful moments without needing anything overdone. DoubleTree Port Huron sits along the St. Clair River and is known for its waterfront views and indoor and outdoor event spaces. Couples are often drawn to the combination of elegant reception areas, comfortable guest accommodations, and the convenience of having multiple parts of the wedding experience in one place. The river and nearby Blue Water Bridge create a backdrop that feels memorable in every season.

Another reason this venue stands out is the balance between style and ease. The event spaces offer plenty of natural light and flexible room layouts, which photographers and videographers always appreciate. Couples can enjoy a beautiful setting while guests stay close to everything happening throughout the celebration. It creates a smooth experience and allows everyone to stay focused on what matters most, making memories together.

Katelyn & Bradley’s Love Story

Katelyn and Bradley’s story began in a way many modern love stories do. During COVID times, one swipe on Hinge started everything. Their first date was at Texas Roadhouse where they talked until closing time. A few days later they met again and went bowling. From there, things kept moving naturally and the connection continued to grow. In December 2024, Bradley decided it was time to propose. Outside of wedding planning, they enjoy visiting breweries with their dog Daisy, camping whenever they can, and spending winter skiing and snowboarding together. Their story feels adventurous, easygoing, and full of genuine connection.

As Detroit wedding photographers, we always enjoy documenting celebrations that reflect the people at the center of them. Our approach to wedding photography and videography focuses on preserving moments in a natural way while creating images and films that still feel meaningful years later. We believe every couple deserves coverage that feels personal and relaxed rather than overly posed. That is why our wedding photography team works closely with couples to help them feel comfortable throughout the day.

Our Detroit team provides photography and videography services across the entire state of Michigan. We know couples often spend time comparing wedding photography packages, prices, and reading reviews before making a decision, and we love helping make that process feel simple and approachable. Whether someone is planning close to home or somewhere across Michigan, our goal is to create an experience that feels easy from start to finish.

We are grateful to share stories like Katelyn and Bradley’s through our blog and continue meeting couples who value meaningful moments and beautiful places. If you are planning a Michigan celebration and searching for Detroit wedding photographers, our team would love to connect and help tell your story through timeless photography and videography.
