Cincinnati wedding photographers love the chance to photograph celebrations at Eichelberger Pavilion at Carillon Historical Park in Dayton. This special event space is part of Carillon Historical Park, a historic open air museum operated by Dayton History. The park covers a large area and brings together history, architecture, and natural surroundings. Eichelberger Pavilion is located inside the Winsupply Center of Leadership and is designed for special events. The setting gives couples a beautiful place to gather while also connecting their celebration to Dayton’s rich history. For us, that mix creates an exciting place for wedding photography and videography.
One of the reasons couples may choose Eichelberger Pavilion is its elegant event setting within a much larger historic park. The pavilion is part of a property that includes museums, historic buildings, gardens, and other attractions. Carillon Historical Park shares stories about Dayton’s history, including its connection to innovation, manufacturing, and the Wright brothers. The park also features the Deeds Carillon, a well known Dayton landmark with bells and daily musical selections. This gives the overall location a strong sense of place without making the wedding feel disconnected from the city.
The surroundings also make Eichelberger Pavilion appealing for wedding photography. Carillon Historical Park includes open areas, walking paths, gardens, historic structures, and views around the property. These features can give couples a variety of visual settings for their wedding images without needing to rely only on an indoor space. We love locations that allow photographs to feel polished while still leaving room for natural moments. The historic character of the park can also add a timeless feeling to a wedding gallery. With so much character around the property, the setting offers plenty of inspiration for a wedding photographer.
A Love Story That Started in Dayton
Mark and Caroline have a story that began right in Dayton. They met as freshmen at the University of Dayton in the fall of two thousand seventeen. Their paths truly crossed during finals week, when early morning breakfasts at Marycrest dining hall became the start of something special. They officially began dating on January twenty fifth, two thousand eighteen. Over the years, they shared college memories, supported each other through graduation, and built a home together in Miamisburg. Their journey also took them to Chicago and later Hattiesburg, Mississippi, as Caroline started medical school. Mark proposed in a quiet park in Miamisburg on April nineteenth, two thousand twenty four.
As Cincinnati wedding photographers, we enjoy creating photographs that preserve the feeling of a couple’s journey. Our team works with couples across the entire state of Ohio. We travel throughout the state for weddings, engagement sessions, and other celebrations. We focus on images that feel genuine and comfortable rather than overly posed. Along with photography, our team also offers wedding videography. A Cincinnati wedding videographer can capture movement, voices, laughter, and other parts of the day that photographs cannot. Couples can contact Original Weddings to learn more about our approach and find the right wedding photography packages for their celebration.
Our blog is also a great place for couples to explore more real wedding stories and photography inspiration. When comparing photographers, couples can look through their work and think about the style they want for their own celebration. It can also help to compare packages and prices based on the coverage that fits their plans. Reviews may offer another useful way to understand the experience of working with a photography team. At Original Weddings, we want the process to feel easy, personal, and enjoyable from the first conversation to the final collection of wedding memories.
