Kensey and Jordan’s romantic day at Muhlhauser Barn in West Chester was full of charm, and our Cincinnati wedding photographers were so happy to be there. This lovely barn sits inside Beckett Park, just north of Cincinnati. It is perched right on the edge of a fishing pond, with green space all around. Families and friends love the relaxed park setting. West Chester is a friendly, growing community with plenty of hotels nearby for out of town guests. It is easy to see why so many couples fall for it.

The barn has a fun piece of local history. It was once part of the Muhlhauser brewing business, a name tied to Cincinnati beer history. The barn originally stood in nearby Fairfield. Later, it was rebuilt and restored at Beckett Park with help from the community and the Muhlhauser family. A Muhlhauser Barn wedding lets couples celebrate inside a true piece of the region’s past. We love venues with a story, and this one has a great one.

Inside, the barn can welcome a large guest list for dinner and dancing. There is an open loft area, ceiling fans, big double doors and a small gas fireplace for a cozy glow. Large doors open onto a deck with beautiful views of the pond. Outside, the Christian Moerlein Gazebo makes a sweet spot for a small ceremony or photos. Muhlhauser Barn is run by West Chester Township and is open for events from spring through fall. It is a perfect fit for couples who love rustic charm with a fresh, clean feel.

Kensey & Jordan’s Romantic and Whimsical Day

Kensey and Jordan met on Hinge and had their first date at MadTree Brewing. These two love traveling, snowboarding and cheering at football and baseball games together. And if there is music playing, you can always find them on the dance floor. What a fun and adventurous pair! Their wedding theme was romantic and whimsical. Jordan wore Vera Wang blue, the bridal party wore eucalyptus green and the flowers were burnt orange and white. Their Christian faith was also an important part of their celebration.
