Andrew and Marian met back in 2015 during college at Clark University in Worcester. The story technically started thanks to a friend who suggested an ice cream place which ended up being their very first time hanging out. Since then, they’ve built a life full of shared hobbies including board games, Dungeons and Dragons, walks, movies, and relaxing time with both of their families. After being together for almost ten years, their connection feels grounded, familiar, and full of warmth. They also share a love for animals and have a cat that’s a big part of their life.
Their Arnold Arboretum engagement session felt cozy and playful from the very beginning. We started among tall trees touched by autumn color, where their comfortable poses reflected how natural they are together. Then we moved toward the open pathways, letting the sun highlight Marian’s deep fall tones and Andrew’s plaid layers. Each location gave us an easy rhythm to photograph; walking, holding hands, laughing, and simply enjoying the evening. The final moments were captured as the sun dipped behind the branches, creating the warm glow that fall engagements are known for.
