As New York wedding photographers, we are always happy to cross into Connecticut for a venue like this. Anthony’s sits right on Long Island Sound in New Haven, close to Lighthouse Point. The water seems to stretch on forever. It is the kind of view that makes everyone stop and take a deep breath.

Anthony’s Ocean View is a true family business. For nearly four decades, three generations of the same family have welcomed couples through its doors. That care shows in the details. The team works closely with each couple, and the venue offers all inclusive options, so planning feels much easier. There is also a bridal suite on site, giving the wedding party a calm place to get ready before the ceremony.

Couples also love how much room there is to celebrate. The venue can host up to 550 guests, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from. Big windows bring the shoreline inside, and the grounds outside are perfect for golden hour photos by the water. The ballroom spaces feel bright and elegant. Many guests say the food is one of the best parts of the night, which never hurts!

Jackie and Will’s Lifelong Love Story

Jackie and Will have one of the sweetest stories we have heard. They grew up together! Their dads grew up together too and are still best friends. That means Jackie and Will have known each other their whole lives. Even so, they only started dating at the beginning of 2023. Sometimes the person you are meant to be with has been right there the entire time.

We were lucky enough to photograph their engagement session before the wedding, so we already knew how easy and joyful they are together. Their wedding was edited in our Airy style, which is light, soft and full of brightness. It is a lovely match for a waterfront venue with so much natural light. We are honored that two families with such a long history let us be part of this new chapter.
