The Manor House at Prophecy Creek Wedding | Bryan & Lynette

Rolling parkland, quiet ponds, and a classic red barn give The Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park a truly peaceful feel. Our Philadelphia wedding photographers love the mix of history and charm found here. The venue sits along Skippack Pike in Whitpain Township near Ambler and Blue Bell. It is only about half an hour from Center City, yet it feels like a countryside escape.

The land has a long and interesting past. It was once part of a large tract that Richard Whitpaine bought from William Penn. During the Revolutionary War, soldiers clashed nearby after the Battle of Germantown, and farmers later found cannonballs in their fields. Local lore says the creek got its name after a prophecy came true. Thanks to neighbors who fought to save this open space, Whitpain Township now preserves about eighty two acres as Prophecy Creek Park.

At the heart of the property stands the restored Manor House, with a red barn and stone silo close by. Ponds, walking paths, and white lamp posts make the grounds feel warm and welcoming. Inside the house, couples can use the library, dining room, living room, lounge, and great room. There are separate suites for getting ready, and a large tented ballroom hosts receptions with heat and air conditioning. Best of all, the venue hosts only one event per day.

Bryan & Lynette’s Patriotic Love Story

Bryan and Lynette met on the dating app Plenty of Fish back in 2013, so their playful theme was plenty of fish! Their colors were dark and light blue, and Bryan planned to wear his dress blues. He has served in the Army Reserves for forty years, so love of America, family, and friends sat at the center of their vision. This marriage was a second one for Lynette and a first for Bryan, which makes their story even sweeter.

Together they have built a fun life. Bryan taught Lynette how to throw darts, and now they play in a couple of leagues together. They also enjoy golf, cornhole, and relaxing by their fire pit with a glass of bourbon. Those simple joys say so much about who they are as a couple.
