Our Providence wedding photographers were thrilled to celebrate Sirrena and Tyler at The Barn at Blackstone National. This charming venue sits in Sutton, Massachusetts, right in the heart of the Blackstone Valley. It feels like a true escape to the country. Yet it is only about thirty miles from Providence, so guests can get there with ease.

The barn is part of a property that covers around 240 acres. It sits beside Blackstone National, a semi private golf course with rolling greens. The Barn at Blackstone National was built in late 2021 with new post and beam construction. It was designed to honor the farming history of Sutton, so it feels rustic and fresh at the same time.

The views are a big reason couples choose this spot. The barn looks out over broad valley vistas, a marsh and a line of tall trees. The team even jokes that it looks like a little piece of New Hampshire. At sunset, those views turn soft and golden, which is perfect for portraits. Fall brings bright red and orange leaves that look amazing behind a couple.

Inside, chandeliers and twinkle lights make the barn glow. It is heated and air conditioned, so it works for weddings all year long. The space can host up to 150 guests. Couples love that it feels like a blank canvas. You can keep things simple or add drapes and decor to make it fully your own.
