It is less than an hour from Portland, but it feels like a peaceful country retreat. Canby is known as the Garden Spot of Oregon, surrounded by farmland and beautiful parks. The moment you arrive, the city stress just melts away. We were so excited for this one.

Oak & Hood sits on forty acres of beautiful countryside. Tall oak trees frame the property, and on clear days Mount Hood stands proudly in the distance. Miles of tree topped rolling hills stretch out all around. Couples can say their vows outdoors with nature all around them. An Oak & Hood wedding gives couples a stunning natural backdrop for their vows. Sunsets over the hills are something special too. Honestly, there is no shortage of amazing photo spots here.

The main venue barn is a spacious, stylish space for dinner, toasts and dancing. The owners even like to call it a bouji barn, and we totally get it! There is a lovely bridal suite called the Magnolia Bridal Suite and a cozy space for the guys called the Oaks Den. A catering prep kitchen is on site as well. Couples love that everything they need is right in one place, with plenty of room for guests to spread out. Rain or shine, the celebration keeps going. It truly checks every box for a relaxed country wedding.
