Edith Chase’s English Tudor style summer home was completed in 1925 and features brick, stucco, cypress woodwork, slate roofing, oak details, and English country antiques. The grounds were also carefully landscaped, with gardens, trees, and plantings surrounding the home. The state continues to offer guided tours of the residence during select weekends in the warmer months.
