Mikayla and Braden’s love story began in the fall of 2023 while both worked as assistant women’s golf coaches—Braden at the University of Arizona and Mikayla at Arizona State. Braden later moved to Texas, and their relationship grew long-distance until they reunited at the University of Texas. Their shared love of the game strengthened their bond, making it only fitting that their wedding celebrated the same teamwork and joy.
Getting ready inside the lodge, laughter filled the rooms as bridesmaids in soft blue dresses helped Mikayla into her gown. Meanwhile, Braden and his groomsmen, sharp in navy suits, shared jokes outside under the tall trees. Their first look was pure magic. Tucked into the greenery, the moment was quiet, emotional, and full of anticipation.
Soon after, guests gathered lakeside, where the couple said their vows with the water shimmering behind them. The ceremony felt so personal—just them, the view, and their people. Portraits followed, with dreamy light and plenty of fun group shots.
