Candid, Documentary-Style Photos We Truly Loved!

“Hello, this is Janni Hume. We had Sound Originals come out for our wedding on August 2nd, 2025. We chose a package with two photographers and no videography. We had considered video, but it ended up being a little out of our budget. What really stood out was that Sound Originals provided two photographers, while others would have charged the same amount for just one. That was a big perk for us. We were hoping to get a lot of candid photos with more of a documentary style, while also having someone available to capture more traditional, styled wedding photos. We were very happy working with Josh specifically. He was amazing, he read the room well and knew when to step in and when to step back, when to pull us aside, and when to let moments happen naturally. Thanks to him, we got some of the most wonderful photos. He also worked really well around my awkwardness in front of the camera, which I had communicated with him beforehand. One thing I would maybe recommend improving slightly is the communication process. We didn’t love the website experience and missed some messages because we had to log in to see them. Some notifications may have ended up in spam, which was a little frustrating, including when our photos were delivered. Aside from that, everyone was great and very communicative overall. Thank you for everything. Thank you, Josh, and especially good luck with your new endeavors.”

I Didn’t Even Notice the Cameras and They Captured Everything!

“Our experience working with Original Weddings was phenomenal. We told them that we wanted to do a lot of candid shots. I’m very introverted, and I didn’t really want the camera in my face the whole time or know how to pose. They made me feel very confident and beautiful and helped guide me while still keeping everything very candid. They said to get the main shots, and then the rest of the day was all candid moments, which allowed them to capture very intimate memories. I didn’t even notice they were around. Then all of a sudden, we received the photos and videos, and they had captured reactions and moments that I didn’t even realize were happening, including my reactions and my husband’s reactions. Everything was very well done. They arrived on time, were super professional and super friendly, and I had an amazing time working with this crew.”

The Drone Footage Made Our Film Extra Special!

“Demi and Beau shared their experience working with Original Weddings after choosing us to film their July wedding, and their words beautifully capture how natural and effortless the entire process felt. From the very start, they felt comfortable, never awkward, never overly posed, just able to be themselves in front of the camera. They described how much they appreciated having a videographer who blended into the day, capturing both the small, meaningful moments and the big, emotional ones with equal care.
