Their story began on Bumble, a simple swipe that led to shared road trips, new restaurants, documentary marathons, and countless hockey games sometimes together in the arena, sometimes cheering from separate places but always connected. That same effortless togetherness shaped their wedding day.
Nothing about this celebration was overly formal, and that’s what made it beautiful. Suji wore her native attire while Stephen kept it classic with a suit. They exchanged heartfelt vows right at the waterfront in their backyard; a serene, honest moment surrounded by the soft glow of Washington’s natural landscape.
Afterward, we captured many romantic portraits of them along the water, the calm reflections adding poetry to every frame.
Later, the couple changed into historical-style outfits, blending perfectly with the pumpkins and fall décor that gave the entire space a fun, Halloween-inspired charm. The evening was easy, joyful, and simply celebrated who they are.
