Both are from Massachusetts .Lela is a PhD in biochemistry working as a field application scientist, and Mike works in insurance. Instead of a big, traditional wedding, they chose to elope at Snoqualmie Falls, surrounded only by nature and each other.
They’re big fans of David Lynch and were inspired by the real-life setting of Twin Peaks. With no guests, no reception, and no stress, it was the perfect setup for an outdoor ceremony that focused purely on love, commitment, and the beautiful setting.
