Erica and James met through Bumble and had their first date at Parks and Rec in St. Petersburg in April 2021. Erica lived in St. Pete, while James lived in Sarasota with his dog, Riley. Their connection grew quickly, and by that summer, Erica moved to Sarasota. Together, they built a life filled with travel, laughter, and sweet moments. After losing Riley in 2023, they adopted Sable, continuing their adventures together. On April 4, 2024, during a trip to Washington, DC one of their favorite places James proposed in the Bishop’s Garden, a special spot they had visited many times. Their wedding was intimate and personal, perfectly suited for their quiet and thoughtful personalities. The indoor ceremony at the Sarasota Art Museum reflected their elegant and heartfelt style.
