Margolane and Kyle’s Pinehurst Country Club wedding was one of those rare, easy-breezy days where everything just felt right. The light was soft, the energy was joyful, and you could tell this wasn’t just a celebration—it was a full-on experience of love, food, and all the fun.
We kicked off the day with quiet, sweet getting-ready moments at Pinehurst Country Club No. 2, where both Kyle and Margolane got dressed with huge smiles on their faces. There’s something so peaceful about this venue, nestled in the heart of Pinehurst, and we’re always excited when we get to document weddings here.
Their ceremony on the lawn was heartfelt and warm, true to the couple’s story. They met floating down a river in Texas during a summer trip (how perfect is that?), and somehow their lives lined up from that moment on. They’ve traveled the U.S. together since, sharing good food, great laughs, and a lot of love along the way.
We especially loved their sunset portraits just after the ceremony—full of joy, movement, and this peaceful kind of happiness. The party that followed was even better. From the dance floor moments to the cake-cutting, the vibe was all in. Huge shoutout to Pinehurst Golf Course #2 for the planning and to Pinehurst Country Club for the incredible catering.

Pinehurst Number 2 Clubhouse
The Pinehurst No. 2 Clubhouse is part of the legendary resort experience and is often used as an event setting for weddings and receptions. It overlooks the famous No. 2 golf course and includes several elegant indoor event rooms like the 2 View Ballroom, which features large windows and scenic views. It’s an ideal choice for rehearsal dinners or cocktail hours and has that classic Southern charm couples love. We’ve seen firsthand how beautifully this space photographs and how smoothly it flows for guests.
Pinehurst Country Club Restaurant
Pinehurst Country Club has several dining options on site, making it a convenient and flexible space for wedding weekends. One standout is The Deuce, which offers elevated pub-style food and overlooks the 18th hole of the No. 2 course—great for a relaxed welcome dinner. The resort also features more formal restaurants like the Carolina Dining Room and the 1895 Grille, both offering upscale dining experiences. Many of our couples love having these choices available for pre-wedding meals or day-after brunches.
Cardinal Ballroom Pinehurst
The Cardinal Ballroom is located inside the Carolina Hotel and is one of the larger event spaces at Pinehurst. With a capacity of up to 320 guests, it’s popular for receptions with live music or big dance floors. The space features a sunken dance floor and stage, ideal for toasts and first dances, along with classic architectural details and warm lighting. For couples wanting an elegant indoor setting, it’s definitely worth looking into.
