Lincoln Park Engagement // Angie & Andrew

We’re excited to show you Angie and Andrew’s Lincoln Park Engagement shoot! When it comes to engagement photography in Seattle, Lincoln Park stands out as one of the most breathtaking venues. Located in West Seattle along the shores of Puget Sound, the park offers a blend of natural beauty that makes every shot timeless. With sweeping waterfront views, peaceful trails, and lush greenery, it provides endless opportunities to capture love in a setting that feels both romantic and serene.

Andrew & Angie’s engagement session at Lincoln Park showcased exactly why this location is such a favorite. Angie and Andrew first met at the University of Washington while studying civil engineering. They share a love for exploring parks and the outdoors — making Lincoln Park a natural fit for their story. As Seattle wedding photographers, we did bring this special day to life. Their session highlighted the park’s versatility: from a romantic kiss by the water to intimate strolls framed by tall evergreens, every moment felt elevated by the environment.

Their outfits complemented the setting perfectly. Angie’s flowy slip-style gown and white heels paired beautifully with Andrew’s classic plain trousers and crisp shirt, bringing sophistication against the park’s rustic charm. Later, their casual jeans and polos made for fun, laid-back portraits in the greenery, showing how Lincoln Park works seamlessly for both formal and relaxed styles.

We are Seattle wedding photographers, we go by name Original Weddings! We love helping couples find venues that reflect their personalities while giving us a canvas to create art. Lincoln Park is one of Seattle’s gems, but you could also check out other beautiful engagement venues across the city. Let’s connect and bring your engagement to life — you could also check out why couples trust us to capture these once-in-a-lifetime moments. We make all Seattle Engagements a lit!

Lincoln Park Engagement Photos

Lincoln Park is a hidden gem in West Seattle, filled with woodsy trails, rocky beaches, grassy meadows, and trails that lead to stunning views over Puget Sound. It’s a photographer’s dream because everything from forest portraits to golden-hour beach shots is available within a short walk—ferries drifting by, distant Olympic Mountains, lush forest backdrops—you name it, it’s there. That versatility and natural beauty keep us coming back again and again.

Lincoln Park Photography Permits

You’ll need a permit for professional engagement sessions at Lincoln Park. Yes—since Lincoln Park is managed by Seattle Parks, any professional or commercial photography requires a Photography Permit, typically submitted between 3 to 14 days in advance. If you’re organizing something more involved—like an elaborate setup or exclusive area access—you may also need a Park Use Permit or Special Events Permit. It’s a hassle-free process, so you don’t need to be bothered.

Lincoln Park Parking

Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on sunny weekends. Many engagement-photography clients recommend arriving early or being prepared to walk from nearby streets. There used to be several accessible spots in the south lot, but as of early 2025, a few were removed due to ADA compliance issues. Still, there are accessible stalls near the beach—just plan ahead! One thing is sure you won’t be overwhelmed on how to go about parking if you do plan before time.
