We recently had the joy of photographing a beautiful wedding at Golden Gardens Bathhouse in Seattle, and we’re still buzzing with excitement. Golden Gardens Bathhouse wedding of Philip and Catherine brought together two wonderful people in a stunning space. We love weddings here because the location offers something truly special. Nestled right along the shores of Puget Sound, the bathhouse gives couples sweeping views of the beach, sailboats drifting by, and incredible sunsets that light up the sky. The building itself was originally constructed in the 1930s, giving it a cozy, historic charm that blends perfectly with its natural surroundings. Inside, the high ceilings, wood beams, and soft natural light make it a dream setting for beautiful wedding photography.
Philip and Catherine’s love story is one we’ll always admire. They first met in 2018 at a storytelling show in San Francisco called The Moth. A year later, fate brought them together again at another show in the Castro District, where they happened to sit just a few rows apart. After Catherine saw Philip’s guitar skills on Instagram, he sent her a message inviting her to dinner. That was the start of something special. They bonded over cooking, traveling, indie music, biking, and even the shared memories of interning for Apple’s product design engineering group. Their adventures took them all over the Sierras, through coffee shops, and across new creative projects. Eventually, their curiosity and ambition led them north to Seattle, where they’ve made their home together. It’s here, surrounded by family and friends, that they celebrated their September wedding with so much joy and love.
