Brianos Charthouse Lakeville Wedding | Luke & Chloe

Brianos Charthouse Lakeville is a lakeside favorite for our Minneapolis wedding photographers, and we love every chance to work there. It sits right on the shore of Lake Kingsley in Lakeville. Gardens, water views and open sky make it feel like a peaceful escape. Yet it is still an easy drive from the Twin Cities.

The Chart House has been a Lakeville gathering place since 1968. The building is famously shaped like a ship, which gives it a fun and unique look right by the water. Inside, the Lake Kingsley Ballroom is a bright and spacious room for the reception. Big windows let guests enjoy views of the gardens and the lake while they dine and dance.

Outdoors is where this venue really shines. The landscaped grounds include gardens, gazebos, a bridge, a deck, ponds and a water feature, all just steps from the lake. Couples often say their vows outside in the ceremony garden. There is also a bridal suite to start the day in comfort. A Brianos Charthouse Lakeville wedding is perfect for couples who want lakeside romance close to the city.

Luke and Chloe’s Lakeside Love Story

Luke and Chloe first met as freshmen in high school, where they both played soccer. They even dated for two weeks back then! The romance ended quickly, but it was the start of a long friendship. They went separate ways for college, then reconnected the summer before their sophomore year. Friendship slowly turned into love, and this time it lasted much longer than two weeks. Today they live in Florida and love the beach, sand volleyball, pickleball and travel.

Their vision was an outdoor, garden inspired wedding with a ceremony by the lake. They wanted the day to feel timeless, romantic and welcoming, with greenery, flowers and candlelight. Their colors were sage green, gold, white and black. Their photos were edited in our Timeless style, a perfect match for such a classic and elegant look.

A garden ceremony beside the water is pure romance. Fresh greenery, soft flowers and the shimmer of the lake create a setting that feels calm and dreamy. As evening falls, candlelight adds a warm glow to the reception. Sage, gold, white and black come together for a look that is elegant and timeless. It is a beautiful way to celebrate a love story that started with friendship and grew into something lasting.

Minneapolis Wedding Photographers at Chart House

Original Weddings is a passionate team of Minneapolis wedding photographers who love Minnesota’s lakes and gardens. Minneapolis is home, and our photographers travel across the state for couples. We often photograph weddings in Saint Paul, Bloomington, Eagan, Burnsville and Stillwater, along with many lake towns nearby. Heading south to Lakeville for Luke and Chloe’s celebration was a treat for our team, and the lakeside setting made the whole day feel extra special. Lake Kingsley also gives us a gorgeous backdrop for portraits. The gardens, bridge and gazebos are lovely spots for photos, and the soft light over the water near sunset is truly hard to beat. We always love finding those quiet corners where couples can enjoy a peaceful moment.

Garden and lakeside weddings are a favorite for our photographers. We know how to handle bright sun on the water and how to use the soft glow of evening for romantic portraits. We keep the mood easy and friendly, so couples can relax and simply enjoy each other. Original Weddings cares about natural color, honest emotion and images that stand the test of time. We guide when needed and step back when real moments begin. From the first look to the last dance, we want every couple to feel their day again each time they open their gallery.

Minneapolis Wedding Videographers at Chart House

Original Weddings also has a skilled team of Minneapolis wedding videographers. Our filmmakers are based in Minneapolis and travel across Minnesota for couples, from Saint Paul and Eagan to Burnsville and Rochester. Filming Luke and Chloe’s lakeside celebration in Lakeville was a lovely day for our crew.

A wedding film keeps the sounds and feelings of the day alive. It saves the vows by the water, the heartfelt toasts and the music that fills the room. Our videographers work quietly, so couples can relax and stay present with the people they love. After the wedding, we shape the footage into a story that feels personal and easy to watch again and again. We choose music that fits the mood and let real moments lead. Original Weddings believes a great film should bring back the joy of the day every time. Every couple deserves a film they will want to share and watch again on every anniversary.
