The Grove Estate Wedding | Katey & Liam

Our Atlanta wedding photographers had the absolute pleasure of capturing Katey and Liam’s vibrant, joy-filled day at The Grove Estate in Crawford, Georgia. Tucked amidst rolling greenery and charming white architecture, this private estate venue offered a picture-perfect setting defined by open lawns, rustic wooden fences, and elegant indoor spaces. Designed for maximum fun and minimal stress, their celebration was a beautiful reflection of easygoing elegance, lively energy, and true love.

The Grove Estate stands out for its serene manicured grounds, bright open-air ceremony lawns, and grand hall complete with a classic black-and-white checkered dance floor. The estate’s relaxed atmosphere allowed the couple and their guests to settle in, celebrate fully, and enjoy every moment without feeling rushed.

For our photography team, documenting Katey and Liam’s wedding was an absolute delight. From playful getting-ready moments in the bridal suite, complete with champagne in a clawfoot tub, to carefree laughs out by the pastures, every candid frame captured their fun-loving personalities.

More Details on Katey and Liam’s Grove Estate Wedding

Katey and Liam’s story began back in high school in 2016 when they met as 16-year-olds. They both attended Kennesaw State University, where Liam graduated with his bachelor’s degree in accounting and Katey pursued her degree in psychology. After getting engaged in November of 2024 and kickstarting their planning in mid-2025, the sweet high school sweethearts were eager to tie the knot surrounded by the friends and family they love most.

Their wedding vision centered on good times, bright colors, and zero stress. A playful color palette of pinks, oranges, and peachy tones was balanced by vibrant pops of blue across the floral arrangements and table settings. Katey walked down the aisle in an elegant white gown with a sweeping train, while her bridesmaids wore striking dresses in shades of vivid hot pink and soft peach. Liam and his groomsmen looked handsome in classic black suits.

Their ceremony took place outdoors on the lush green lawn, framed by white arbors adorned with colorful florals. Standing hand-in-hand before their loved ones, Katey and Liam exchanged sweet vows in a short, meaningful ceremony under the open sky.

Following the ceremony, we stole away with the newlyweds around the picturesque estate grounds to capture an array of romantic portraits. We wandered alongside rustic dark wooden fences, paused near the estate’s lush greenery, and captured intimate moments against the charming white venue walls. The genuine laughter, playful dips, and quiet kisses between the high school sweethearts made for effortlessly beautiful imagery.

To keep the celebration flowing smoothly, the couple opted for an extended cocktail hour followed by a high-energy reception inside the estate’s grand hall. Guests dined at tables accented with blue water goblets and vibrant florals before hitting the checkered dance floor. Katey changed into a chic, fun short reception dress, and the party came alive with dancing, disco ball accents, and endless cheers under the venue chandeliers.
