Seattle wedding photographers love the timeless beauty of Paradise Inn. Located in the Paradise area of Mount Rainier National Park, this historic inn is known for its rustic character and peaceful mountain setting. The building is a National Historic Landmark and has been part of the park since the early days of tourism at Paradise. Its large timber structure, classic design, and natural surroundings give weddings a beautiful sense of place. We love how the setting can add a strong outdoor feeling to a wedding story while still giving couples a historic space to enjoy.
Paradise Inn also stands out because it offers a true mountain experience. The inn sits high in the Paradise area of Mount Rainier National Park and is surrounded by the scenery that makes this part of Washington so special. The property includes guest rooms, a dining room, a café, and a gift shop. The historic lobby is another memorable part of the inn, with its woodwork and classic furnishings. For us, these details create plenty of visual character for wedding photography. The mix of history, nature, and simple mountain charm makes Paradise Inn a beautiful choice for couples who want their celebration to feel connected to the outdoors.
Another reason we enjoy photographing weddings at Paradise Inn is the way the location naturally supports meaningful photographs. The surrounding Paradise area is known for its mountain scenery and wildflower meadows. The inn itself has kept much of its rustic style over the years, even as the property has been renovated to protect its historic character. That balance is exciting for our photography team. It gives us opportunities to create images that feel natural and timeless without needing to add anything that is not already there. We can focus on the people, the emotions, and the story.
A Seattle Story of Love and Adventure
Ben and Erin have a sweet Seattle story of their own. Erin moved from Oahu, Hawaii, to Seattle for college. She was working at a gelato shop in Fremont. Ben moved from Long Island, New York, to Seattle to explore something new. He started living and working at the hostel down the street from the gelato shop. Their paths crossed when Erin’s former roommate and friend, who had also moved into the hostel, brought Ben into the shop one day. From there, their story grew. Today, they enjoy hiking, taking day trips, eating out, watching movies, and simply lounging on the couch together. They are both camera shy, which makes having a comfortable photography experience even more important.
As a wedding photographer, we know every couple has a story worth preserving. Our goal is to make wedding photography feel relaxed and genuine. We look for real expressions, natural connections, and the little moments that help tell the full story. We also provide wedding videography for couples who want to remember more than still images. Motion, voices, laughter, and the feeling of the day can add another layer to a wedding collection. Our Seattle team loves creating photographs and films that couples can enjoy for years.
Choosing a photography team is a personal decision. Couples often want to look through prices, compare packages, and read reviews before making that choice. We understand that. Our wedding photography packages are designed to give couples options that fit different wedding plans and photography needs. We also invite couples to explore our blog for more real wedding stories, photography ideas, and inspiration from celebrations we have documented.
We are proud to be Seattle wedding photographers serving couples throughout the entire state of Washington. Whether a couple is planning a mountain celebration, a city wedding, or something completely different, we love being there to document it. Ben and Erin’s story is a wonderful reminder that love can begin with a simple introduction and grow into a life filled with shared adventures. We would be excited to tell your story through thoughtful wedding photography and videography, too.
