North Fork Farm Wedding Day Details
After first meeting more than ten years ago, Marina and Kalen reconnected three years ago and quickly realized they were meant to be together. Although they had already been legally married at the courthouse the previous February, they always dreamed of celebrating with the people they love most. Surrounded by their four children, family, and friends, they finally gathered for the farmhouse wedding they had imagined from the very beginning.
With Mount Si rising majestically behind them, Marina and Kalen exchanged vows on the venue’s expansive lawn, creating one of the most spectacular ceremony settings imaginable. A rustic dark wood arbor decorated with cheerful sunflowers, soft pink roses, light purple blooms, and lush greenery framed the couple beautifully while their guests looked on from rows of chairs surrounded by towering evergreens. Their children played an important role throughout the ceremony, with their daughters wearing sweet white floral dresses topped with delicate wildflower crowns, adding an extra layer of warmth and meaning to the day.
Every detail reflected the couple’s vision of a rustic farmhouse wedding filled with natural textures and welcoming elegance. Long wooden farm tables paired with cross-back chairs created a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, while neutral runners, simple white dinnerware, gold flatware, and colorful floral arrangements tied everything together. Sunflowers, soft pink roses, light purple blooms, fresh greenery, and seasonal flowers added cheerful pops of color without overpowering the rustic aesthetic. The beautifully crafted semi-naked wedding cake, decorated with fresh flowers and displayed atop a custom wooden box engraved with “The McGarveys,” perfectly complemented the overall design.
The incredible scenery surrounding North Fork Farm Events gave us endless opportunities to create stunning portraits throughout the day. We explored the open lawns beneath the dramatic mountain cliffs, wandered through peaceful wooded areas, and incorporated the venue’s rustic buildings into the couple’s portraits. The sweeping mountain views created breathtaking wide-angle images, while the surrounding greenery provided intimate spaces for quiet moments together. As the light softened later in the day, the property became even more magical, allowing us to capture romantic portraits that perfectly reflected Marina and Kalen’s love for the outdoors, hiking, fishing, road trips, and spending time together as a family.
Following the outdoor festivities, everyone gathered inside the venue’s beautiful timber-framed barn for an evening of celebration. Warm wood finishes, exposed beams, and sparkling crystal chandeliers created a cozy atmosphere that balanced rustic charm with understated elegance. Family and friends enjoyed heartfelt toasts, delicious food, and plenty of laughter before the newlyweds shared a romantic first dance beneath the soft glow of the barn lighting. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged everyone to celebrate together, creating joyful memories that perfectly matched the couple’s vision.

1. How much does it cost to get married at North Fork Farm Events?
Wedding pricing at North Fork Farm Events varies depending on the season, day of the week, and the package you choose. Most couples can expect venue rental costs to start at around $6,000, with premium dates and larger packages costing more. The venue offers beautiful mountain views, indoor and outdoor event spaces, and plenty of room for both ceremonies and receptions. For the most accurate pricing and availability, it’s always best to contact the venue directly, as rates may change from year to year.
2. What is the 30-5-minute rule for weddings?
The 30-5-minute rule is a simple planning guideline that helps keep a wedding day running smoothly. It suggests building 30-minute buffers between major events, such as the ceremony and reception, while allowing at least 5 minutes of breathing room between smaller activities like family photos or the first dance. These extra minutes help absorb unexpected delays, reduce stress, and keep everyone relaxed. Couples and vendors appreciate the flexibility because it allows the celebration to stay on schedule without feeling rushed.
3. What to wear for a farm wedding?
Farm weddings usually combine rustic charm with elegant style, so choose an outfit that is both comfortable and polished. Flowy dresses, midi dresses, floral prints, or lightweight suits are all great choices depending on the dress code. Neutral tones, soft pastels, and earthy colours fit the setting beautifully. Since you’ll likely be walking on grass or gravel, consider block heels, wedges, dressy flats, or polished boots instead of stilettos. Bringing a light jacket is also a good idea if the celebration continues into the evening outdoors.
