Golden Gardens Bathhouse wedding is always something we get excited about. This spot in Seattle is right on the water and has one of the best sunset views in the city. The beach, tall trees, and historic bathhouse building all come together to make it feel special and relaxed. It’s got a classic Pacific Northwest vibe, which is perfect for couples who love the outdoors. We always feel inspired when we photograph weddings here. It gives us so many chances to be creative with light, movement, and scenery. This is one of those places that makes our job as a wedding photographer really fun.
We loved working with Mark and Emma. Their story is full of adventure. They met while working in outdoor education on Catalina Island, way down in California. Nature brought them together, and it’s still a big part of their life. They moved to Seattle in 2020 and have been exploring together ever since. They love the ocean, hiking, and being outside. So, it made total sense that they chose this beautiful venue for their outdoor ceremony. Their wedding theme was “internal,” which felt really personal and meaningful. It was about what mattered most to them not the noise, not the show, just the heart of it all. The ceremony takes place at Golden Gardens Bathhouse and the reception at the Cathedral.
One of the things they told us early on was that they don’t feel super comfortable in front of a camera. That’s something we hear often, and we totally get it. Our job as professional wedding photographer and videographer is to help couples feel natural and at ease. We don’t expect anyone to pose perfectly or act like models. We want to capture the real moments. The small laughs. The quiet looks. The honest, in-between stuff. That’s what wedding photography should be about.
