Top of the Town wedding setting is simply breathtaking, perched high above the city with sweeping panoramic views of the nation’s capital. With floor-to-ceiling windows, a beautiful terrace, and elegant interiors, it offers a stunning backdrop for wedding photography. We found the story of Kelli and Dave absolutely inspiring. “We Found Love” by Rihanna describes two people who found love in a hopeless place, and if that isn’t the perfect way to describe their meeting at the O’Club in Yokosuka, Japan, we don’t know what is. It was December 12th, 2021, when they both showed up to watch the Army Navy game. They ended up at the same table thanks to mutual friends something that happens a lot in Navy circles.
Their first meeting didn’t spark fireworks right away, but they kept seeing each other at the O’Club’s Thirsty Thursdays. A few months later, Dave’s roommate (and now their officiant) Nathan gave him the confidence he needed: “I don’t think she would say no.” From a ramen date that didn’t go quite as planned to exploring Japan’s festivals and cities together, their connection grew stronger. After years of deployments, shared adventures, and a move to Newport, Rhode Island, Dave proposed nearly two years later fittingly, on the morning of the Army-Navy game. Their ceremony took place indoors, surrounded by love and light.
