Ashleigh and Justin’s The Sunset Estate wedding was a dream to photograph! They chose this amazing venue in Tacoma, and it was the perfect choice. The estate’s indoor and outdoor spaces offer beautiful views of the Cascade Mountains and Narrows Bridge. Their day was full of heartfelt traditions, with soft sunlight over the water and bridge as the perfect backdrop.
The couple’s morning blended Asian and Western traditions. Ashleigh wore a traditional red qipao, while Justin wore a complementary outfit for the tea ceremony. The traditional tea ritual was a quiet, emotional moment honoring family and heritage.
Later, Ashleigh changed into her white dress and veil, and Justin into his cream-colored suit. Portraits in front of the blurred bridge were breathtaking. The outdoor ceremony took place beneath a flower-adorned arch with flowing black-and-white fabrics. The reception began with a Lion Dance, a traditional Asian performance that brings luck, happiness, and prosperity to the newlyweds. The dancers climbed into a bright red lion costume, moving to drums and cymbals. Our wedding videography team captured every exciting moment of the performance. The lion then approached Ashleigh and Justin’s table, offering blessings and adding a meaningful cultural touch to the celebration.
The celebration had a stylish, elegant vibe with black linens and gold accents. The multi-tiered cake by Dragonfly Cakes, adorned with fresh flowers, became a centerpiece for cheers and sweet moments.
