The Laurelhurst Club Wedding // Samantha & Steve

The soft sunlight streaming through the trees, golden marigold accents, and the joy in Samantha and Steve’s smiles—The Laurelhurst Club Wedding was pure magic from start to finish. This charming forest venue in Portland felt like it was made for them, wrapping every moment in a warm, romantic glow.

The day began with quiet, tender moments—rings ready, flowers in full bloom, and Samantha in her elegant gown framed by flowing white drapes. Steve waited with an excited grin, and soon they met under the lush canopy of trees, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their ceremony felt intimate yet vibrant, with colorful wildflowers in shades of white, light blue, yellow, and peach designed by the talented MoMo. These blooms, paired with hints of rattan and tropical touches, beautifully honored Samantha’s Filipino heritage.

Some of our favorite memories came after the vows—strolling near the water for those dreamy couple portraits. As your professional wedding photographers, capturing their laughter, soft glances, and that just-married glow felt effortless in such a stunning setting. We made sure every detail—right down to the delicate bouquet and the way her veil danced in the breeze—was preserved forever.

When it was time to celebrate, guests gathered inside the warmly lit reception space. Tables overflowed with florals, and the cake by The Mobile Scoop Shop looked as delightful as it tasted. Lively dancing followed, the kind where shoes are forgotten, and everyone sings along. Every cheer, twirl, and heartfelt toast was also beautifully filmed by our wedding videography team, ensuring these moments will be relived for years to come.

We’re a passionate Portland wedding photography team, and documenting love stories like Samantha and Steve’s is why we do what we do. Visit our blog for more beautiful love stories and inspiration, and don’t forget to see Samantha and Steve’s wedding photos and videos here.
